CONFORT MENTAL et Draft Ateliers s’associent pour proposer «Fantôme», un temps de résidence pour 4 artistes, ouvert au public. Dans le cadre de Laterna Magica, festival dédié à l’image et ses formes multiples organisé par Fotokino et le Centre Pompidou, Fantôme propose d’explorer le caractère matériel et immatériel des représentations du réel, de penser l’image en volume, en mouvement, ou en mémoire. Les artistes et designers invités partagent tous un rapport fluide avec les formes virtuelles et physiques, et ont accepté de partager leur mode opératoire pendant une semaine avec le public.

Sept jours pour penser une pièce, la produire et l’exposer en utilisant les espaces, machines, et intervenants mis à disposition. Du lundi au vendredi chez Confort Mental puis le samedi et dimanche chez Draft, les auteurs travaillent à vue, dans un scénario proche d’une performance de production au long cours. Le mardi suivant, une restitution prend place chez Confort Mental avec une exposition et une rencontre informelle avec les artistes.

CONFORT MENTAL and Draft Ateliers join forces to propose « Fantôme », a residency time for four artists, opened to the public. As part of Laterna Magica, a festival dedicated to the many forms of image, organised by Fotokino and the Centre Pompidou, Fantôme aims to explore the material – and immaterial – representations of reality, to think image through volume, motion, or memory. All the invited artists and designers share a flowing connection with both virtual and physical forms, and the desire to share their working methods with the public.

Seven days to think, produce and exhibit a piece using spaces, machines and contributors made available for them. From monday to friday at Confort Mental, then saturday and sunday at Draft, the authors are working live, in a scenario close to a long-term production’s performance. Next Tuesday, the restitution take place at Confort Mental, including an exhibition and informal meeting with the artists.
